OUR SOURCING PRACTICES

It all begins here. In our quest to create high-quality products that last, we seek out suppliers that measure up to our exact standards for sustainable practices, water conservation, and environmentally safe chemicals. No cotton in the Storm Creek offering is from the Xingjiang Province of China.

Garment sourcing is focused on three main areas: fabric yarn suppliers, the fabric dying and setting mills, and the factory sewing operations.

FABRIC YARN SUPPLIER CIRTIFICATION
We require all our fabric yarn suppliers to be either Bluesign® or Oeko-Tex® certified.

FABRIC DYEING AND SETTING MILLS
We require the fabric dyeing and fabric setting mills to be either Bluesign® or Oeko-Tex® certified.

FACTORIES
We work with some of the top factories in the world and personally oversee the production process on a semi-annual basis (at minimum). All of our factories are certified by the Worldwide Responsible Accredited Production (WRAP) program and Business Social Compliance Initiative (BSCI) program, and all of them meet an incredibly high set of standards required by top apparel brands in the world.

RESTRICTED CHEMICALS
Storm Creek adheres to transparency regarding chemicals used in producing and packaging our apparel. We avoid any product that could be deemed harmful or considered a health concern and ensure our garments are non-toxic and safe.

For each garment we manufacture, we require a “Bill of Materials” from all parties involved, including the following:

• The recycled material details and certification of recycled materials
• Certification that there are no materials on the Restricted Substance List (RSL)
• General Certification of Conformity (GCC)
• Statement that materials are free from any Pop 65 substances
• Statement that there are no conflict minerals
