Storm Creek and Twin Cities in Motion Create a Strong Partnership Through Shared Values

Over the past 5 years, a tightly woven partnership between Twin Cities in Motion and Storm Creek has formed over a shared mission of promoting healthy lifestyles, getting outdoors, and supporting the community. This spring, Storm Creek is the apparel sponsor of the TCM MNy Challenges, a fresh take on fitness and motivation during these challenging times of social distancing.

“The racing community embraces Storm Creek with each event,” said Teresa Fudenberg, Storm Creek CEO. “I always hear comments from runners that they’re excited to see two local companies collaborating and appreciate Storm Creek as the chosen swag.”

The partnership goes beyond races and extends to Storm Creek’s Annual Warehouse Sale where TCM is a partner. This adds an additional boost to the two organizations' shared value of giving back - funds raised from TCM sales at the sale go to support creating a healthy lifestyle in today’s youth through fitness-focused activities and events.

For Storm Creek, the opportunity to provide race gear for Twin Cities in Motion events is the perfect way to showcase the quality and performance of the apparel.

“It is exciting to create garments specifically for runners,” Fudenberg continued. “Our design team created a custom pullover for the Women Run the Cities race in the Fall of 2020. With running in mind, the style included thumbholes, reflective detailing, and a hidden pocket for earbuds or a credit card (or maybe an ID for a post-race brew 😉).”

This Spring, The MNy Challenges offer a unique and exciting way to motivate runners to keep on movin’! Twin Cities in Motion nailed these challenges by developing a creative solution to springtime fitness, especially amid the restrictions of COVID-19. The North Star State Park MNy Challenge starts April 1st. By the end of the challenge, runners will virtually visit all 66 MN state parks!

Participants will receive a Storm Creek Pacesetter Pullover, made from recycled fabrics, one of the many styles that is evolving to eco-made this year as part of the company’s planet-first ethos. Whether you’re visiting MN state parks, doing yoga, or on your next Zoom call, The Pacesetter Pullover moves right along with you.
