Giving Back: Because Doing Good is in Our DNA
At Storm Creek, giving back is more than just a business practice—it’s at the heart of everything we do. Thanks to your support, we’ve been able to make a difference in 2024 through donations, volunteer work, and product contributions. Here’s a look at how we’ve teamed up to support causes that matter:
So far, we’ve proudly contributed over $2.75 million to causes close to our hearts! In 2024 alone, we raised $166,202 to support both local and national charities. Our amazing team also volunteered over 700 hours, directly benefiting more than 85 nonprofits. On top of that, we made a huge impact by donating over $1 million in products, including more than 15,000 garments to those in need.
Our environmental commitment continues with our participation in 1% for the Planet, ensuring that we give back to important environmental causes. Additionally, our involvement in the Minnesota Keystone Program has allowed us to support and uplift local communities, reinforcing our dedication to both local causes and global sustainability efforts. Sustainability is an ongoing journey at Storm Creek. We’re not satisfied with just checking boxes—we’re committed to continuous improvement and pushing the boundaries of what’s possible. Looking ahead, we have some exciting goals to continue making a meaningful impact.
One of our biggest goals is to earn B Corp Certification, which will further cement our dedication to ethical business practices. We’re also working toward improving our EcoVadis Rating to track our progress and identify areas where we can improve. Additionally, we’ll be focusing on carbon emissions tracking and reduction, increasing supply chain transparency, and aligning more closely with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals.
As part of our commitment to educating others, we’ve launched Storm Creek Sustainability School™, where we share knowledge and encourage action within our community. We also plan to innovate our packaging to reduce waste at every level.
Finally, our ambition giving goal is to raise $5 million in charitable donations by 2030, ensuring that as we grow, we continue to fuel positive change. We’re committed to keeping you informed and holding ourselves accountable every step of the way.
